Cocaine Lights by Phosphorescent

Excerpt:

I can hear my own blood clickin',
So I stand there and I listen,
Until the glowing begins.

If you like Bon Iver, but want more gritty, realism, this guy is your man.

Sometimes I get into a classical mood. :) As my bf says, this is white man jazz.

I've never been too crazy for classical, like jazz too. I like the masterpieces, the top albums and works, but never been a HUGE fan.

I play music for a living -- classical guitar. :) I dig classical music. Chopin is on my playlist right now.

If you like, good Rock music, you'll like these guys. It's the drummer and guitarist (I believe) from the Killers. It's Rock, with like a western feel to it. Very good and you can listen to it over and over again without making it feel old.

The War of All Against All by The Receiving End of Sirens

The only band I will say "I listen and like Hardcore" for. Well... the front man, Casey Crescenzo, started up The Dear Hunter at the same time he was writing for this guys--so that's all a given for me. Casey is an amazing man.

I've been listening to these guys when I wake up and enjoying it.

They are like The Animals, or The Beatles (a throwback to the 60's) from 2012.

Darkness within by machine head. From the album unto the locust one of the greatest metal albums of recent times in my opinion

A inordinate amount of Superunknown by Soundgarden. I don't know why. It's just what needs to happen most days.
