I signed up for my name this morning when I saw your traffic spike story. I'll make a nice profile page this evening and share link tonight.

I've been meaning to check it out...signed up but haven't had time to do anything with its as yet.

I use my about.me address in all forum sigs and my email as well. Haven't noticed any spikes, but I rarely check traffic there.

ETA: Willie, is the stuff below your "escape" blurb the Backstory I was prompted about? I keep thinking I should be doing a lot more with my personal blurb, but I feel very un-creative at the moment.
