It wasn't a W1S1 story, but this group encouraged me to send everything back out instead of letting it languish on my hard drive.

"Maribelle Remembers Ice" will appear there in September. Yay!

Yay, faerydancer! Congratulations (-:

My own crickets are slightly befuddled but no less persistent.

Guys, the board has lost 6 days and my memory ain't what it used to be.

Can you please repost your recent brags both for your own fun and edification, and so I can re-update the hall of fame? *bats eyelashes*

Made my first short story sale (non-W1S1) to Expanded Horizons on 7/6. :)

Just got word that my story has been shortlisted for Casper Pearl's Memory Eater anthology. I wrote the story with the book in mind, so it's to know I got it right, even if Casper doesn't end up buying it.

First off, HUGE congrats to everyone who has had success this year! This topic is definitely inspirational. I'm getting started a little late, but managed to get my first rejection last week, and I'm not giving up there.

I have high hopes and not a lot of confidence. Ready to do this. :D

Congrats on that first R! That's something to treasure. Soon you'll have thick rejection calluses. Remember, every rejection is one step closer to a sale :)

Congrats to everyone who has sold stuff!

I'm a bit confused with the roll back, I don't know who I've congratulated before.

So, Congrats to everyone.

And Red, Huge congrats to you.
First R? You're a proper writer now :)

Good work, Izz! I've read several of your stories now (three, I believe), and they're consistently pretty awesome.

Thanks for the kind words, you guys. I'm fairly positive I'll be hanging around for a while. Now, if only I could finish this story...

Changling was published yesterday at Cuento Magazine. I'd mentioned it on Friday but was unavailable online yesterday to do my usual rounds of "Read my story NAO!". ;)

That's great Aggy. I loved it.
Congratulations.

I had to go and google Cuento to find it, so I'm putting the link here for everyone else.
