LOL, Nintendo-level hard. Love it.

I grew up with Nintendo. Some of the most challenging games I ever played were on Nintendo's various systems.

I'm thinking specifically of Super Mario Bros. on the SNES, the first Donkey Kong on SNES (I could finish all the other ones with like 102%, but not the first one), GoldenEye and Perfect Dark on the N64.

I wish I still had an old SNES with Donkey Kong 2 -> 4 on it. (Were there 4 or only 3 on the SNES? *shrug*) I loved those games so much.

PC gamer, through and through.

Been playing Skyrim & Saints Row: The Third :D

Still hemming and hawing over The Old Republic, but I think that'd cut in to my writing way too much...

L.A. Noir on PS3; it was okay. Not much variety in the cases or action.

I last played The Sims 3 just earlier today. I've been playing those games since the original and I just can't get enough of them. Besides being fun (for me at least :p) I like that sometimes a character or event can inspire a story for my writing. It doesn't happen too often, but when it does I really enjoy that.

I played Lord of the Rings Online just a few days ago.. that was my replacement for WoW. I'm big on MMORPG games, and this one fits the bill.

Dragon Age: Origins. I might play the (allegedly) bad sequel to it one day.

I'm in the middle of Red Dead Redemption for the second time. The last new game I finished was Uncharted 3. I want Skyrim, but I'm saving every penny I have to buy a house.

Just wanna throw in I don't think the sequel is bad at all. Maybe not as many choices at the beginning but the graphics and gameplay make up for stuff like that :p

I have to agree. It was certainly nothing like the original, and in that much it's dissapointing if you loved Origins (which I did), but it's not a bad game at all. If you come into it without the expectation another Origins, you'll be pleased.

I can't wait to see what the next one is like after all of the complaints about this one though. Bioware is usually awesome at listening to fan feedback.

OK, everyone can giggle at my cheapo Flash games habit. I don't know why I'm addicted to this game, but I am:
Bloons!
This is a really violent one with some inventive weapons and a few cool settings. It even has some shooter action with the right weapons:
Viva Caligula
Here's one for you true believers out there :D
Seven Deadly Sins
And for when you wanna kill some zombies (doesn't perform as fast in the latest version of Flash, for some weird reason):
Days2Die
Hey, if I'm not gonna get any work done, why should anyone else? :e2tongue: Have fun!

I was playing Star Wars: The Old Republic pretty regularly but I was also working at BioWare when I was playing. I didn't think I was loving the game just because I worked for them, but ever since I got let go, I'm having a hard time returning to the game.

For quick, fun breaks, I usually play Ticket to Ride on XBox 360.

Every once and a while, I'll go, "You know what was awesome? Freespace 2!"

Then I'll replay it and go, "Yup...still awesome."
