Okay.

The hymen is stretched more than torn. Bleeding heavily is by far the exception rather than the rule. Many women don't bleed at all.

AND not all sexual virgins have an "intact hymen." Riding astride a lot tends to result in a removal of the "physical" virginity, for example.

Loretta Chase has fun with that in Miss Wonderful. After the first time they have sex, the hero notices after she's gone that there was no blood. He, incorrectly assumes that she had not been a virgin. So when she is later panicking and telling him she can't marry him (for a completely different reason) he assures her he doesn't mind that he wasn't her first. Cue lots of bafflement on her part.
