Cora!
I'll have to think about your questions, but there's something I would like to see more of. Horror novels where the romantic interest of a monster-if it's given one that is- knows the monster is a monster. A woman or man knowing they're dating a killer right from the start, and embracing or at least comming to terms with it. Maybe actually helping the monster kill as a way of bonding. Their version of a date.
I'm not talking about declawed and defanged monsters, but ones where they're still firmly evil. A play on, how can someone love a serial killer? Well, what if that "serial" killer was really a werewolf and their lover knew, hid bodies as needed, or participated in fullmoon hunts with them, even going so far as to become a killer themselves?
