Option on Author's Next Work

I definitely did NOT sign a two-book deal. It's a basic one-book deal with an option. Sorry I'm being weird with the hypotheticals, it's just that my contract says I'm not allowed to discuss the details with anyone.

Usually that means details like royalties and advance amounts, hardly the same thing as what we're discussing.

Asking for clarification from your publisher isn't doing anything wrong.

Does Swoon have an entry in the Bewares forum?

No warnings that I saw. I checked them out prior to signing my contract and everything I read was good.
