I got a mojor pork chop reppie from GJB.

Egad! I had no idea/intent. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I just said something about one of Lil's posts NAILING the point, as she does often. What's the pork chop in that?

Must be in the water--or that last night I got invited to be the honored guest at a book group to discuss mine next month. That's a first for me. And I only know one of the members. Ah, how easy I am to please, or to goad into sending reps with subtle pork chops.

Yay Rick! That contract is worthy of your lengthy books.

On inadvertent pork chops and too much time in Purgatory:

My parking garage has a very finicky credit card reader, and I'm constantly having the pork choppiest conversations, trying to tell college boys and their dads how to use it.

"You're putting it in too fast. It says remove it right away, so you think it wants you to put it in faster, but it really wants you to go slower. Go gentle and slow, then take it out as soon as it's in all the way. If it doesn't work, put it in again."

And I seem to be the only one who notices how dirty what I'm saying is.

Add these to the list of something that wouldn't occur to me to write, very clever. I await the John Allen poems and an ode to the shirtless guy.

The amount of Stupid in this whole thing is beyond fiction

Thanks for the contract love! And... in the middle of printing, I ran out of ink. Gah!

I wasn't going to post this, but since Kell opened the door... Red and Fire's pork-choppy posts made me realize that Book 2 has also turned out to be an erotic military thriller. Here's an excerpt:

Cordero acknowledged, then ordered the Michigan back to the safety of the ocean depths. "All stations, Conn. Going deep."

I swear I have this conversation at least once a week. I'm probably known as Creepy Car Garage Woman who talks dirty to all the visiting parents and new students. But it's so annoying to be in line behind someone who just can't get it right.

+1!

Employment vamp dust, Little!

The contract review last night went well, until I got to the "First born or your soul" clause. I'm pretty sure they won't want my first born, so it looks like I've got a job for Tas' JJD. :)

Morning, purgs.

Happy birthday, Para!!! :partyguy:

Rick, woot for (a loooooooooooooong) contract!

Kell, lol! That went so well with my morning coffee.

Guys, hold me. Agent emailed yesterday that she will be in touch this weekend about my revisions, but she dropped no hint of whether she liked them. Meep.
