I'm attempting to join the NUJ and I've been asked "Please can you forward me copies of your accredited journalistic work".

What does this mean?

Thanks

I don't know what the NUJ is either, but I'd wager they mean proper clips with proper attribution.

It used to mean being published in legitimate newspapers or magazines, even on a freelance basis. I thought the NUJ took nearly everyone who writes news in any way now, but I may be wrong.

When someone wants something, and yu don't understand exactly what it is, your best bet by FAR is to ask them. Just call the main office and ask.

Okay thanks thats what we thought but we have already supplied a clips page that would cover that. We have asked so will have to see what they say.
