This could be a lot of fun and I bet you this can make a million dollars easy :)

Not sure about the legalities though, if they got permission from Lucas

Maybe the opportunity to recreate Star Wars in its' entirety will enable people to start plugging all of those plotholes which Georgie-boy didn't feel the need to correct when he butchered remastered the original trilogy in the nineties...

However it turns out, it can't be as bad as The Phantom Menace...

You know what has surprised me about fans remaking bits of Star Wars...

The light sabre fights on youtube.

There are a few lightsabre duels that are BETTER than what Lucas did in any of the movies.

Which is amazing given the creativity of some of the kids out there.

Just go to youtube, type lightsabre duels and bam, about a million of them though they are dominated by 2 or 3 'camps' that just make briliant scenes.

Well, its cause sometime in the late 80s, evil time traveling Puritans from the 18th century removed George Lucas' brain as part of their massive quest to destroy all fun in the world.

Yeah, those lightsaber fights are quite amazing.

The website sounds like fun, but there's no way it's going to stay up long.

I would be very surprised if George Lucas gave his permission for this site. It does appear to violate copyright. Very bad.

I don't know about the site, but if I remember correctly, in a documentary I watched about Star Wars, Lucas has given permission for the technology, etc used in Star Wars to be used by fans for fan films.

Star Wars: The Last Hope was a pivotal moment in my teenage life. From my perspective, these fan-made versions do nothing for me, except reveal that others were similarly affected. They are horrible and amazing.
