I've got a wedding next month and a couple of other bits and pieces so I might not be free, but I'll definitely try.

And like IRU, I'll be the short chick with the red hair.

Are we talking 17 August? That's a Friday.

As it happens I am free that day!

Yorkshire! Last year I had a lovely week there. Which bit are you going to?

Jimmy as far as I am aware the meeting did not take place. Inertia! Maybe a date a bit further ahead would be better - end of October or maybe November? Any suggestions for locations other than London?

Milton Keynes - nice and central. (Yes, yes, I know I said I'm more mobile now, but it's still easier if I don't have to go anywhere :tongue)
Norwich - for the reason Jimmy gave - I won't have to go anywhere!

Would you do coffee? I'll bring a cream cake if you'll do coffee.

Cambridge?

(Or Buffy's. I'm easy.)

Cambridge is good for me.

Which county is Germany in?

I would be up for Manchester. Milton Keynes not being very central for Newcastle. :D

Milton Keynes is not very central for anywhere. It also has an inordinate number of round abouts! Manchester could be good . . .

It's very central to me. ;) And the roundabouts are what make it so good. Very few traffic problems here. :)

:tongue I know it is central to you. Have you ever driven east to west (or even west to east) along the A421? I think there is roughly one round about every mile or so for about twenty miles! Ghastly road! Well, not the road but the RAs on it!

If we go with Manchester, I'll take on the task of finding a place....although the new coffee shop/restaurant at Waterstones Deansgate seems an appropriate place.

Also? Isn't Milton Keynes a part of London that likes to pretend it isn't part of London? (g,d,r)

Roundabouts every mile are a hell of a lot better than traffic lights every mile. Unless you like sitting in stationary traffic. ;)

Do you know of any cheap B and Bs in Manchester? Some of us may have to do a sleep over. Thought that may be true where ever we have a meet.

LOL! I think it has more roundabouts than London!

Roundabouts cause traffic tail backs as do traffic lights. I've done that journey a quite a few times and each time I have been stuck in a tail back at more than one RA.

So - are there any cheap B and Bs in MK?
