The Silkworm, J.K. Rowling's Strike, Round Two

I'm about halfway through, and enjoying it. The first one she did, The Cuckoo's Calling, was a) better than I expected, and b) a pleasantly surprising mix of the English Detective genre and the American Hardboiled genre, at least in my mind.

Anyone else who has read one, the other, or both, what're your thoughts?
