Dates are all Saturdays in April and May. I have left out Easter and Bank Holiday weekends. Please post if you could do those weekends. You can vote for more than one date.

You have until 31st October to vote.

I've voted - but at the moment I can do any of them! Oh, the joy of having a full social calendar!

I voted, I based my vote on when I was most likely to have money in the bank account. :D

Early April is best for me. The 20th is definitely out and later in May doesn't work either.

Sigh, the first two April dates are unlikely to work for me, since I have a wedding anniversary on the 8th and the hubs may get grumpy if I take off alone instead of spending whichever weekend we decide to celebrate it with him. Geez, husbands, huh?

Treat him to a romantic weekend away in London?;)

Hi - can I ask if this meet up is only for people who live in the UK?

And - what kind of things happen on these meet ups? Work shops?

Sorry if they are stupid questions. Please just point me to a thread or something where the answers may be if it's too much trouble to reply :)

Open to any AWers who can get to it.

They are social meets - usually start in a pub, drink + something to eat. Lots of talk and chatter and putting names to faces. Then maybe move on for a meal out.

Not too much trouble to reply!

:) I don't know that many people here so probably not.
I was just wondering what these meet ups were about, it there are writing work shops etc, because I would like to go to something like that some day.

But meeting up with friends you've made online is really fun too, so the spring meet will be great, I'm sure :)

Pubs are good. There is the one in the Strand that was used for the meet I went to. We had a huge room upstairs - I think it was Waylander and/or IRU who organised the use of said room.

Yeah, I think that's the one they use regularly for their writing group.
There's also the other place we met in, which was pretty nice. So long as there are no slow moving old people for anyone to get stuck behind this time. :tongue
