Hehe, I was about to put a plug for my Facebook page in a new thread. Good thing I opened up my eyes and read existing threads first ;)

The page I'm linking to is not an author page (don't think I'll create one of those quite yet) but a page for a near future scifi novel that I'm working on. I'm planning on posting my novel as I write it. Perhaps a very brief edit. It will be in rough form as posted. I'd love followers for accountability (which is the main reason I created it) and crits if you feel like it. It's called Alienus Tempus and I've worked on it a very few brief moments for over 10 years. I'd like to finish it this year, at least the draft. There is a fictional obituary already there and I will be posting the prologue soon. I hope to see you there.

I'd be happy to see any fellow AWers on my Facebook page -
https://www.facebook.com/katherine.blakeney

I have a lot of professional contacts there so I never post anything crazy or embarrassing. I post about my animated short films, my archaeological work in Egypt and my PhD thesis on Gothic monsters in silent film. Let's be friends!

I've also recently started a fan page for my new film, The Green Wall - https://www.facebook.com/thegreenwallcampaign
It is a live action/stop motion animation short film set in a southern Egyptian village and a mythic fantasy world. It deals with issues of women's rights in modern Egypt and empowerment through art.
