That is a shame - I liked the random stuff.
Maybe next month we can combine a couple different ideas. How about a chain where each person has to take a character from the previous person's post and put them in a completely different story. Not quite a blog-o-phone but still keeping a thread of connection.

We could do a Walter Mitty type chain. One character going through multiple adventures/fantasies in a single day.
I like the idea of throwing one character into different stories. The character's development would be fun to see!
