Is my thoughts, anyway.
I copied and pasted that phrase into a google search. It popped out a whole bunch of websites non of which had anything to do with each other, but all of them had that as a comment.

I still think it's drunk people. :D

*sigh*

Assassin's Creed 3 (meaning the third ancestor, not the third game)

(see avatar)

They made a third one? My brother will be pleased. Very pleased indeed.

Happy Almost-Friday!

You realize that for some of us, that really didn't clarify things much, other than knowing now you're talking about the game.

:D

All I was clarifying was that it's a game. And most of you should know it's a game I highly enjoy by now.

They made a third one? My brother will be pleased. Very pleased indeed.

Presently there's: Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations (just came out last November). Assassin's Creed 3 is due out this November (perhaps earlier) and is the final installment in this segment of the saga. Speculation that the saga will continue after 3.

How's it going, PD?

I actually added a sentence to the MIP this morning. Most writing I've done for a week. LOL!

It's going okay.

I worked on changing book three over to the MC from my first 2 books. I had book #3 in his son's voice/character - but it didn't make sense to veer off like that on the last book, so I rearranged some things and returned it to my first/original character's POV.

Good work, PD. Does Book 3 make sense from that POV?

Yes, it does, as the original MC and his son, are very much alike, save for their different experiences in life.

There were a few pieces I had to clip, ones tailored to the son, but most of it was easy to save. I just changed the names out and subtracted certain secondary characters who would not be there with the father as MC.

:D

if that makes any sense.

There are still a few scenes I have to tweak, but I'm not sure how yet. That will take some inventive/deep thought ;)

**THis is week 7, by the way. Still waiting to hear back on book #1, on sub to the agent.
*I am too impatient for this. I really am :(

So, in other words, you right characters that are virtually indistinguishable from one another.

:D

(Hey, it's worked for a lot of well-published authors.)

My wife is on the phone with her mother talking travel arrangements for vacation this summer. They are trying to look at the same stuff on the internet.

My wife, "Go to the address window at the top."

My MIL, "What's the address window? Why would they have my address in a window?"

Me, "Oh dear Lord, almighty."

Well, the characters are kind of 'clones', in a way. So they have to be somewhat similar. *Okay, very similar. :D They even share the same memories.

It's what makes the story. ;)

MIL, "I don't have mice."

My wife, "Not mice, a mouse. A computer mouse. To move your cursor."

MIL, "I don't have one of those. I have use the arrow buttons."

My Wife, "Do you see that rectangle under your keyboard?"

MIL, "Yeah. I press it, it doesn't do anything."

My wife, "Put you finger there and move it!"

Me, "Oy."

My mother went to see her tax man and was telling him about my joining a writer's forum - and she was trying to explain how I have to jump from one thread to another, use addresses for the images posted, check my reppies in another part - and that she was all confused by it all.

the tax man is a computer/tech guy in his spare time. I guess he spent a lot of that 'talk' smiling :D *chuckle*

Fixed it for you.

:D

Hon, if I was completely obsessed by it, then I'd have it not only as my avatar, but there would be large moving gifs in my signature and I'd be harassing people who don't give a whit with it in many posts on a semi-regular basis and with related such do-dads in their reppies.

I think I'm safe in saying that I don't do that. ;)
