It's Loki and his peeps.

And it's all the actors from the Marvel pre-Avengers movies. A lot of Whedon's genius comes from the group interaction, IMHO, and this is an ensemble cast. Except a lot of them are super egotistical, so I'm not sure how well that'll work. However, with Mark Ruffalo...*spaces out, smiling wistfully*

I think that Mark Ruffalo actually got involved because of the previous Bruce (Edward Norton) couldn't play well with others. But that's just Internet rumor, so who knows.

Really, the movie could totally suck and it would still be worth seeing. It has enough eye candy to keep me happy. :D

Oh. Loki. Of course.

Who the marvelverse is Loki?

"Never piss off the YA brigade"

They will eat you alive.

Particularly if you end up at the Cornucopia. And if you didn't get that, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? we won't explain it for risk of getting to spoiler territory.

Lastly, I see no contradiction in this post. That is all.

Well, theres the lumpy one on my knee that my dad poured iodine on while I howled and recoiled (pro tip- radiologists make shitty wound care specialists). My fatish lip from when I bit through it and got six stitches. Guess who insisted on taking those out? (Pro tip 1b- radiologists make shitty surgeons and lips are fking sensitive).

There's the part on my ankle where I got skinned by that hoof that was attached to that spooking horse. That one needed a graft.

Going back to my youth, theres the one on the middle of my sternum from when a friend pushed me onto a blunt spikey lamp. I dont show that to just anyone though ;)

Ps- I dont believe in wasting money on a graft so my ankle can look pretty. Scar is thus quasi epic.

What the what?!?!!!

But how will we live vicariously through frozen offices and crazy co-workers?

(and congrats!)

I think a better question is why would you want to vicariously experience those things? :D

(and thanks)

The best part of scars are the stories that go with them.

Like the one on my finger. Cut myself with a box cutter when I was twelve. My friends mom was all "OMG!" I was "Cool, I can see the bone. Don't worry, see, stick a bandaid on and it's all fixed."

Ow. And heh.

Hugs for Bugz. :Hug2: I didn't mean to make you sad. But if I really have, blame Peter. Kay?

That story is cooler than mine. When I was around nine or ten, one of my chores was to get Daddy settled when we all got home from school: hang up his coat and tie, change his shoes and tie them for him, etc.

so I was cleaning out his jacket pockets one day, and found a GORGEOUS pearl-handled pocket knife he had confiscated from one of his students. I copped it and went outside to play with it. I tried "whittling" a piece of wood, and ended up slicing my right thumb to the bone.

Thing was, if I went to my mom and got help, she'd have known I had swiped the knife. So I wrapped it in gauze and kept it hidden from her, at least until it got infected. Not my smartest move. I ended up with an 1 1/2 inch long scar on the base of my thumb.

Did you watch all the prequel movies? I'm guessing that you'll enjoy Avengers more if you watch the prequels. If you watch Thor, you'll get the Loki background in the marvelverse. :)

Thor was actually my least favorite of the prequels, but it's worth watching, imo. And not to stare at the Thor actor...okay not *just* for that.

Ow. And heh.

I'm not that sad, but let's blame Peter anyway. :D

This is my stance on The Avengers, as well. I hope it is a good movie, but it'll be worth my $10 for the explosion of eye candy.

1. Yay on giving your notice.

2. I'm going to miss your insane coworkers because they make all of mine seem downright pleasant.

1. W00T. Thanks!

b. I'll be working in a larger office soon, and since I've worked with many of them in the past I can guarantee that a few aren't. Quite. Right. :)

Who is this Peter and why is he getting all the blame??

Because I never call him Peter?

Yeah, let's go with that, rather than "I can't remember which one of the oddly name and rarely here Cantina folk is Peter."

Sorry, dude. Maybe I shoulda asked that one. I could have blamed newness.

I just thought Peter was a fictional whipping boy, you know, like make-believe friends. I call mine S***head, as in "It's all S***head's fault."

(and congrats!)

ah, it's ok... you've still got me!!

Actually, our offices will be less frozen. They have found a new building forus - as our lease is up in July. It is only down the road from us - so, I get to keep shopping at all the very convenient nearby shops/restaurants. Also, it has heat and cooling. That works! Yay! Of course, unless we manage to drop boxes on the heads of the crazies, they will be coming with.

From what I understand, yours truly will have an office to herself - sort of. They are going to park the fax machine and printers in there with me. I was the only one not brought to go see the place. Which was bullshit, but you know. Whatever.

Have sent my parents the credit app info for the apartment, and have not heard from them all day. I'm not going to be able to sleep until this is resolved.

Just remember when dealing with crazy. Dropping boxes on their heads only works if the boxes are steel, or oak. Carboard only works if you fill it with heavy stuff, like, oh, cast iron. Try to make it look like an accident though.

I hated sending stuff like that to my parents.
