In what obscure corner of the globe do you reside, that you do not know what happens on December 6th?
Doesn't that sort of thing usually bring hurricanes, flooding, earthquakes and such to completely different parts of the United States?
Wouldn't that have been a simple disaster, since the term "Act of God" is trademarked by the United States?
But why would He permit anything bad to happen to the United States?*
*A few nights ago, I happened to see, on TCM, the 1939 film Babes in Arms, starring Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland. It ends with a huge production number titled "God's Country," which obviously referred to the US. However, let us be fair. World War II was starting to erupt in Europe, and patriotism--even hyper-religio-patriotism--was considered appropriate.
