It's official - My Novel is Officially Published!

From a kernel of an idea to sketching out an outline to writing a first draft and the long, long editing process - I now have my very first novel published on Amazon Kindle.

To say I'm excited - and relieved is an understatement. Huzzah!

It's titled Winter Fall and it's a post-apocalyptic tale of a family's struggle to survive in the aftermath of the Yellowstone Supervolcano. Length is 112,700 words, or 317 "estimated" pages.

Congrats! And self published? I'm hoping you'll be willing to keep us updated on how that goes. A lot of self-pub seems to be crap, so I'd be interested in seeing how a well-written book does, out of the gate.

Just an update - I had my best sales day yet, and my ranking is above 12,000 - woot! And I've cracked a top 100 list for the first time.

I just had to take a screenshot for posterity...lol.

Looks my hard work in promoting my book is continuing to pay off - it's broken the much-coveted top 10,000, and it is currently just above 9000. Woot!

I'm amazed that it's done as well as it has, considering I started out from zero, with hardly a clue of what I was doing with all of this...lol.
