My memoir is on a university class reading list!

I found out today that my memoir was included in a university (University of Mississippi) reading list for their Human Genetics course for biology majors. It's one of the choices given for the class book report assignment.

Totally unexpected, and I will be celebrating with tacos.

DOUBLE DANG!

I can't say that I'm "surprised" because I gave the book to a friend who'd just had a double macsectomy, and she said that as she read it, she couldn't stop laughing/weeping as she felt *life* flowing back into her body.
