EMAIL QUERIES AND SUBMISSIONS

Send your queries and submissions via email, according to the guidelines below. We accept unsolicited submissions via email only. We do not accept submissions via U.S. mail. Please wait at least thirty (30) days to hear from us, but please feel free so submit simultaneous submissions. We do not accept excerpts of material from other work. We also do not accept previously published work.

CUT AND PASTE

Please paste your entire story into the body of your email. Please do not send text attachments. We will not open your MS Word or PDF file, as we are wary of viruses.

FORMATTING

Your text submission should be formatted with basic black type and one font—Cambria 12 pt or Calibri 11pt work best for our site format—without strange, cute or other funky formatting. If your submission must contain strange formatting or you are otherwise unable to fit your submission into these basic formatting guidelines without losing some of its meaning, contact us with a query email for special instructions.

PLEASE BE AWARE

Strange formatting may occur when you cut and paste a document into the body of an email—especially if you have non-standard punctuation or multiple fonts used in a piece. Some of MS Word’s auto-formatting features—for example, smart quotes and em dashes—change in appearance when pasted as text into an email. When we receive this type of email, the text may appear as unreadable “Unicode.” Please edit your submission in the body of the email to ensure there are no smart quotes, curly apostrophes, or other problematic formatting issues. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask first.

YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION

Please include your name and contact information in your submission. Please share a brief biography per the guidelines for your submission category. We’d like your name, phone number and email address at the beginning of your email, along with the type of submission you are making and the number of words it contains. We will not share your contact information.

Here is a sample of how it should look:

· Title or Headline Explanation of Submission
· Series for Submission
· Number of Words
· Name
· Phone
· Email

EMAIL SUBMISSION SUBJECT LINE

You can help us read your email submission faster by following our conventions for your subject line. Please use your last name and a shortened version of your title. For instance, “ABC Title Erotica by J. Doe.” There is no need to use something cute or strange in the subject line as this will likely cause your email to be deleted.

COPYRIGHTS

By submitting your work, you are confirming that you own the copyright to the material and are granting usage of the work to Juicy Pink Box. We will purchase a two (2) year exclusive license with the first right of refusal to purchase all rights or renew a license at the end of the term. Author will be paid in full once final manuscript has been accepted.

BIOGRAPHY

It is appropriate to provide a brief biography with your submission. If your submission is accepted, we will contact you if we need additional information to include in your bio. For example, we may ask you to provide a photograph, links to your website, etc.

PAYMENT

If your work is accepted for publication, you will receive a one-time payment of $50 upon publication. Payment will occur within thirty (30) days of publication.

TIMELY REPLIES

Our goal is to respond to submissions within a month. There should be no need to resend your submission—in our experience, as email is profoundly efficient. Occasionally, online technical glitches and spam filters may somehow thwart our communication process. If you have not heard back from us within two months, please send a follow-up email to the appropriate submissions category.

Thank you for your interest in Juicy Pink Box. We look forward to connecting with you and sharing your work.

From Filigree: This alert came across one of the romance marketing forums, I have not checked the press for standard issues yet, just thought I'd pass this along:

____

http://ai-press.net/submit-to-ai-press/

Submit to Ai Press
Here’s what we’re looking for:

Well-written erotic romances that are both erotic and romantic. This means:

The story must meet the definition of a romance novel: the primary focus must be on the development of a romantic relationship, and there must be an emotionally satisfying, committed ending for the main characters. A “happily ever after” ending is not essential. ”Happy for now” is acceptable.

Aside from being erotic (with a higher number of erotic scenes), stories must have strong characters, interesting conflicts and an engaging plot.

The story must include abundant, explicit sex and sexual tension, starting early and continuing throughout. Sex scenes must be described in graphic detail with explicit wording, not delicate euphemisms or purple prose. Both kinky and vanilla sex are okay.

However, the sexual relationship must be integral to and an important element of the plot and character development. Sex scenes should further the plot, affect the romantic relationship or advance character growth.

Do not mix content genres. For example, if a book is M/M, the sex scenes should be exclusively between men. The same goes for M/F.

At this time we are currently acquiring M/M, F/M and ménage in the following subgenres: contemporary, BDSM, sci-fi, steampunk, cowboy and Western, multi-cultural and paranormal (vampire/werewolf/psy). All kinks are welcome except where noted below. We also accept young adult fiction.

Length: 40,000 words and up. We will consider shorter works only if they are in a popular subgenre such as vampire, werewolf, M/M, BDSM or ménage.

Manuscripts must be clean and need very little editing. Always have a proofreader or beta-reader look over your work before sending.

Heat level: No “sweet” romance. Stories must have a high and explicit level of erotic tension and content, though that same content need not be kinky. It can be “vanilla sex” as long as the emotions are strong between the characters and the eroticism flows naturally from the developing romance. No sex thrown in just for show.

Dark Sins line – can be pure erotica – no need for romance or HEA. Heavy BDSM allowed. However, the same rules apply in regard to the writing. Solid characters, interesting conflicts and sex that flows naturally from the storyline.

~We do NOT accept F/F at this time. This isn’t because we dislike lesbians, but F/F just doesn’t sell.

Send an email to Managing Editor Sue Swift at [email protected] with attached .doc or rtf files, as follows:

~Put Ai Press submission in the subject line of your email. Otherwise it may be deleted as spam.

~ brief professional cover email (genre and length of story; one or two paragraph blurb; previous publication credits. No personal information or anything unrelated to the story or your writing career.

~ detailed synopsis (2 to 4 pages describing setting and main characters, conflict, full plot and resolution)

~ the first three chapters and the final chapter of your manuscript. (If it is a short story of less than 15,000 words, send the full manuscript).

Note: We are a publisher of electronic books (although most of our titles are also eventually issued in print). We do almost all our work electronically; we do not accept paper submissions. Communication is via e-mail. Editors and authors exchange electronic files of the manuscript at all stages. No paper submissions, no paper edits, no paper galleys.

Please be sure your submission has been thoroughly self-edited (and we highly recommend having frank critique partners look at it!), and has been proofread by someone other than yourself. It must be free of typos and grammatical errors. We suggest using one-inch margins and a variable-space, easy to read font (such as Times Roman, Arial, Book Antiqua), but we do not reject stories based on formatting.

Previously published authors: We will only consider your out-of-print books if you hold exclusive rights. Please send a copy of your reversion letter with the submission.

Pitch camp opportunity for authors

This copied from the Marketing for Romance Writers' group on Yahoo:

***

Marketing for Romance Writers
proudly presents
Write Place-Write Time
Pitch Camp
Camp: October 1-31 / Pitches: November 1-3

If you weren't a member of MFRW last year, let me bring you up to speed. We host a yearly pitch camp where our members share their knowledge on pitches: how to approach a pitch session, what to and not to do during a pitch session, should you have a blurb or tag line prepared, should you pitch if you don't have a completed manuscript, and what else should I know before a pitch session? All these and more questions will be answered during camp.

Now, I bet at least ten people here are asking "What is a pitch and how do I prepare for the major leagues?" Well, I'm so glad you asked that question. A pitch, as far as writing is concerned, has nothing to do with baseball...or does it? You see, a pitch is a one-time opportunity to tell a publisher about your manuscript, and it generally lasts between ten to fifteen minutes. Does that sound like a lot of time? Trust me, it's not!

What if you were at a writer's conference, and just by chance, you are alone on the elevator with the publisher of your dreams - the one you've always wanted to write for. You know you have very limited time to catch their interest and get them to ask you to send your manuscript over. Now, that would of course be less than five minutes, but the big question is would you be prepared for it?

MFRW is here to help! During the month of October, we will be hosting classes at Coffee Time Romance (the same forum where we hosted camp). Each week, we will offer new classes, and do everything we can to help you get read for the pitch sessions with publishers that begin on November 1st.

In fact, I've already received RSVP's from the following publishers: Amber Quill, Astraea Press, Chamaigne Book Group, Decadent Publishing, Etopia Press, Featherweight Press, Jupiter Press, Liquid Silver Books, Loose Id, Man Love Romance (MLR) Press, MuseItUp Publishing, Passion In Print, Prism Book Group, Rooster & Pig Publishing, and Soul Mate Publishing.

If you are with a publisher that does not appear on this list, please feel free to contact us off list (mfrwstaff-owner(at)yahoogroups(dot)com. We would love to get in touch with them and offer them a spot on our pitch panel.

Would you consider teaching a pitch class? If so, stay tuned, we'll be sending out an instructor's sign-up call soon!!

***

This is a huge group and very active, but they do come up with some reasons to join. This could be a very good opportunity for any authors who need to brush up on their pitch skills, and have a chance to get those pitches in front of publishers. Caveat: Given the recent scheduling troubles that MFRW had at Coffee Time Romance over their 'Summer Camp' courses, I hope that the organizers will adapt and smooth out the process in time for Pitch Camp.

Much appreciated, ma'am. When there's a not-vetted publisher calling for mss., I guess I'd just as soon not know.

In a bunker, lobbing grenades at the plot bunnies.
Lyrical added a new imprint:

Going forward, Lyrical will focus on erotic romance, with a tremendous push of category erotic romance. Sure, we know other houses are doing category, but we're going where not many have ventured. Lyrical will dare to put a new spin on classic category romance. Rather than fear putting a toe past the invisible line and stop at steamy, we're going straight to erotic romance. Since Lyrical has always been an equal opportunity publisher, we welcome LGBT writers to contribute to Fervor, a line specifically branded for LGBT category contemporary erotic romance.

Lyrical loves breaking rules. With that in mind, we're increasing the ‘traditional’ category word count to 50,000 - 80,000 words. This ensures every category book will have a simultaneous digital and print release.

In fact, every Lyrical book over 50,000 words will have a simultaneous digital and print release beginning November 2013.

Each category line will be a fully branded and unique Lyrical Press imprint.

Entice: Category contemporary erotic romance [Entice]
Enigma: Category contemporary suspense erotic romance [Enigma]
Fervor: LGBT category contemporary erotic romance [Fervor]

Will we still publish non-erotic romance? Absolutely. Non-erotic romance will be published under the umbrella of Lyrical Presents: Romance. This will tell readers, at a glance, these are non-erotic books. These books will carry an unobtrusive branding, that will not intrude on the beauty of Lyrical's cover art. I know that might be a concern for some of you, who come to Lyrical specifically for our cover art.

Lyrical will also open our house to erotic romance serials. These are books 90,000 - 150,000 words. Serials will be released monthly in 25,000 word installments, attractively priced at $1.99 each. Each serial must be fully edited prior to being broken up into installments.*With serials, we want your taboo stories. We want danger, excitement. Shock us. I dare you.

I'm still holding my breath waiting for them to publish something that's not romance. See how blue my face is?

Call For Submissions
Like a Rolling Stone: Erotic Tales of Rock and Roll Fantasy (and science fiction)
Publisher: Circlet Press
Editor: H.B. Kurtzwilde
Deadline: December 1, 2013
Payment & Rights: First rights for inclusion in the ebook anthology for $25
Circlet Press seeks short stories for the latest in our anthology series of erotic science fiction & fantasy ebooks. Like a Rolling Stone will combine three of our favorite things in one book: rock and roll, erotica, and sf/f. And since sex and rock and roll already go hand in hand, that shouldn't be too difficult, eh?
Whether at the height of stardom or the deepest pits of ramen-only survival, the rock band stands as living gods, no matter the time period or pantheon. Can art and passion forge a family, or will those fires burn out everything that was good and right when the song first sounded? Every age needs heroes, and every hero needs his song. Like a Rolling Stone seeks to collect the stories of those who have knelt at the altar of rock, and found their calling.
In a junked out spaceship, the legend lives on. Deep in the heart of the elven forest, a rebel plays. Somewhere between the cyber static, a sound emerges to save a soul. A steam engine churns power to a mad invention, and melody never before heard by man cries out as a new age is born. The rock and roll adventure lives in every world, but all adventurers know it's dangerous to go alone.
MORE DETAILS ON SUBMITTING:
Length: Our preferred length is approximately 3500 to 7500 words, but we will consider the range from 2000 to 10,000 words.
How to submit: Send plain text, .rtf, or .doc via email to the submissions address of [email protected]
About the editor: H.B. Kurtzwilde is the Lambda-award nominated author of Chocolatiers of the High Winds, along with many other fantastical and futuristic fictions.
Only email submissions are accepted. Submissions sent to other addresses/other editors at Circlet Press will not be considered. Standard manuscript formatting rules apply even though sending as an attachment (MS Word .doc or .rtf preferred). Please note that this means your name, address, and email contact must appear on the manuscript itself and not simply in your email message. (If you're not sure what a standard short story submission format should look like, Google is your friend.)
No simultaneous submissions (that is, don't also send your story elsewhere at the same time, and don't send it to multiple Circlet editors, either), and no multiple submissions to the same book. One story per author per anthology, thanks.
All stories must include explicit sexuality and erotic focus. Romantic content is welcome, but in a short story remember to keep the details on the action and its effects on the main character's internal point of view. We favor a strong, singular narrative voice (no 'head hopping' or swapping between different character's points of view within a scene). For more details on our editorial preferences, see the general submission guidelines on circlet.com. We highly recommend reading the guidelines, especially the "do not send" list, to increase your chances of sending us something we'll love. Try to avoid cliches. Fresh and direct language is preferred to overly euphemistic. Sex-positive, please, no rape/nonconsensuality/necrophilia or other purposefully gross topics. We do not publish horror.
Originals only, no reprints. We purchase first rights for inclusion in the ebook anthology for $25, with the additional rights to a print edition later which would also be paid $25 if a print edition happens. Authors retain the rights to the individual stories; Circlet exercises rights to the anthology as a whole

Call for Submissions: Hot Highlanders and Wild Knights--Extended!

Hot Highlanders and Wild Knights
Editor: Delilah Devlin
Publisher: Cleis Press
Deadline: June 14, 2013 December 31, 2013

HOT HIGHLANDERS AND WILD KNIGHTS is open to all authors.

Editor/Author Delilah Devlin is looking for historically-themed stories—of knights and men in kilts—for a romantic erotica anthology tentatively entitled HOT HIGHLANDERS AND WILD KNIGHTS: Erotic Romance for Women.

Let your fantasies run wild to a time where men wearing heavy armor or thick tartans sent a spirited young maiden’s (or salty widow’s) heart fluttering. Imagine a primitive, simpler time where survival required physical strength and men were judged for their fierce loyalty and unshakeable honor.

Don’t feel you have to restrict your imaginings to European “knights” (Crusaders, Highlanders, Normans & Saxons, or tournament fighters)—dream about Vikings, Huns, Persians...or maybe a Samurai. A few time-travel stories may be considered as well.

Delilah will be looking for stories rich in sensory detail that explore women’s forbidden desires. A knight serving a conquering king enters a keep his armor tarnished and smeared with dirt and blood. He scans the great hall until his gaze snags on a woman whose frightened face is nonetheless set into stubborn lines as she meets his piercing gaze... Imagine what happens next...

**NEW ADVICE TO AUTHORS: Don’t neglect the world-building and external plots that should weave throughout your stories. Don’t use excessively flowery or hard to read language. This is medieval romance intended for entertainment. Many of the submissions I received were the familiar arranged marriage concepts. Too many included the “watching the maiden bathe in a river” scene. Also, too many included sexual activity with virgins that happened too soon or with the virgin seemingly too experienced to be believable. Try for something unique about the characters, the premise, or the setting. Much of the sexual activities in the stories I have are very vanilla—some kink would be refreshing! Light paranormal will be considered.
HOT HIGHLANDERS AND WILD KNIGHTS will seek stories to satisfy the reader who craves the romantic idea of that hard but questing man while exploring stories set in the Dark Ages. While most will likely take place in Europe, Ireland and Britain, more exotic international settings will be considered. Traditional themes/tropes can be used, but writers are encouraged to create tales that surprise. Delilah seeks unique stories from authors with strong voices, and above all, she’s looking to be seduced by tales filled with vivid imagery and passion.

Published authors with an established historical world may use that setting for their original short story.

Keeping in mind that this volume is targeted at women, the editor seeks hetero stories, but will consider bisexual or lesbian encounters and polyamorous relationships WITHIN that ultimately hetero relationship. This is erotic romance, so don’t hold back on the heat. Stories can be vanilla or filled with kink, but don’t miss describing the connection between strong-willed individuals learning to trust and love one another. Keep in mind there must be a romantic element with a happy-for-now or happy-ever-after ending. Strong plots, engaging characters, and unique twists are the ultimate goal. Please no reprints. These must be original stories.

How to submit: Prepare your 2,000 to 4,500 words story in a double-spaced, Arial, 12 point, black font Word document with pages numbered (.doc, NOT.docx) OR rich text format. Indent the first line of each paragraph half an inch and double space (regular double spacing, do not add extra lines between paragraphs or do any other irregular spacing). US grammar (double quotation marks around dialogue, etc.) is required.

In your document at the top left of the page, include your legal name (and pseudonym, if applicable), mailing address, and 50 words or less bio in the third person, and send to [email protected]. If you are using a pseudonym, please provide your real name and pseudonym and make it clear which one you’d like to be credited as. Authors may submit up to 2 stories. Delilah hopes to respond with decisions in March 2014. The publisher has final approval over the stories included in the manuscript.

Payment will be $50.00 USD and two copies of the published book upon publication. Contributors retain the rights to their work, although the editor requests the courtesy of authors not republishing their work until at least 6 months after the publication of this anthology.

Ms. Devlin has published over a hundred twenty stories in multiple sub-genres and lengths with Atria/Strebor, Avon, Berkley, Black Lace, Cleis Press, Ellora’s Cave, Kensington, Kindle, Montlake Romance, Running Press, and Samhain Publishing. In Fall 2011, she debuted her first anthology with Cleis Press, GIRLS WHO BITE. Since then, she has published SHE SHIFTERS and COWBOY LUST. SMOKIN’ HOT FIREFIGHTERS and HIGH OCTANE HEROES released in 2013.

Direct any questions you have regarding your story or the submission process to Delilah at [email protected].

Caveat: I haven't looked up these folks yet, but this call just came through on one of the Yahoo groups. I'm still puzzling through their payment methods, since it appears there is a very low one-time payment for stories (6,000 - 10,000 = $2.50) plus a royalty?

It may or may not be worth looking into, for those of us who write shorter pieces.

Title: Valves & Vixens - Erotic Steampunk
Editor
: Nicole Gestalt
Publisher:
House of Erotica
Deadline: February 28
th 2014 (Early Submissions are preferred.)

Word Count: 5k - 15k
Theme: Steampunk
Genre: Steampunk but any sub-genre is welcome be it Science Fiction, BDSM, Fantasy, historical, action, comedy, crime or any other!
Pairings: Any
Heat: Any level from romance to burning the pages of the book!

Rights: Six Years - exclusive
Submission limit: Authors may submit up to two stories.

Editor/ Author Nicole Gestalt is looking for stories set in a might-have-been Victorian setting filled with clockwork machines and airships. Think Jules Verne or League of Extraordinary Gentleman, think Sherlock Holmes with clockwork machines and the film Wild, Wild West.

The stories do not have to be focused in the Victorian era they could be modern day stories but still with the Victorian clockwork style. They could even be off world – think spaceships powered by nothing but steam, or mighty metal boats propelled by sails powered by the rays of the sun. Be as inventive as you can but please don't forget the story line and the relationships! Since this is an erotic anthology there should be on the page sex scenes however don't forget the interaction between the characters and the relationship they have. The stories should either end with a Happy-For-Now or a Happy-Ever-After it would have to be a amazingly good story for me to select it if it didn't (but I am well prepared to have my opinion changed on that).

Nicole will be looking for stories that stand out so please don't just set your stories in London, they can be set anywhere in the world – or even off world. Don't be afraid to experiment

The No-No's: No scat, bestiality, under age sex, golden showers, rape or forced sex or incest of any kind and necrophilia (that does not include intelligent undead such as Vampires). If in doubt please ask

Format of submission: Please send the submissions double spaced in Times New Roman, 12 point black font. Indent the first line of each paragraph half an inch and double space (using normal double spacing please do not add an extra line between the paragraphs). Double quotation marks! Please submit your final, complete and totally edited version of the story. File format: .doc or .rtf. Since this is a British publisher UK spelling and grammar is greatly preferred

In your document at the top left of the page please include you legal name, mailing address and a fifty words or less author bio written in the third person. If you are using a pen-name please provide both and make it clear which one you wish to use.

Please email your submissions to: [email protected]

Authors must own their rights to the stories and not have had them published anywhere else. Please note the publisher has final approval over the stories included in the manuscript.

Cleis Press Anthology Calls

3 erotica calls for submissions: sex toys, female fantasies and bondage

You heard it here first! This female fantasy erotica anthology is a separate one from my previous call, though the wording is the same; please do not submit the same story you sent previously, unless I've requested you do so. Last time I got a huge abundance of lesbian fantasies; feel free to send those, but if you do, give it a very good twist. Though it has the latest deadline (April 1), the sex toy anthology I expect to fill up fast and I would encourage you to get your stories in as early as possible. I especially encourage those who've taken my erotic writing workshops to submit to any or all of these anthologies and each of my anthologies will publish work by writers I've never published before. The most important thing you can do in submitting work to me is follow the guidelines, and write an insanely hot story. I'm also reposting the Best Bondage Erotica 2015 call, which has a March 1 deadline. If you're waiting to hear back about my previous calls, I will reply to you by the second week of January - my apologies for the delay.

Call for Submissions: Sex Toy Erotica anthology, April 1 deadline
To be published by Cleis Press

Erotica editor Rachel Kramer Bussel is looking for your hottest sex toy erotica stories. Sex toys can include items such as vibrators, dildos, butt plugs, as well as items like handcuffs and other restraints, nipple clamps, paddles, cock rings, whips and canes, sex furniture, etc., but feel free to get as creative as you can with the definition of “sex toy” and its use in your stories. The story can focus on the sex toy or simply incorporate the use of a sex toy into the narrative. Sex toys should be given context and description, but shouldn’t read like catalog copy. Let the story you’re telling drive the detail used to convey exactly what the sex toy/s is/are and their purpose within the story.

The final book will contain a wide range of characters, scenarios, sexualities, locations, motivations and toys, from the types listed above that you’d find at a sex toy retailer, to everyday household objects, to fictional sex toys. The sky’s the limit! All characters should be over 18. No nonconsensual scenes. No bestiality, scat or incest. No poetry. Please see my anthologies Orgasmic, Women in Lust, and Fast Girls for examples of the kinds of stories I'm looking for. Unpublished stories only (this includes blogs and websites).

How to submit: Send double spaced Times or Times New Roman 12 point black font Word document with pages numbered (.doc, not .docx) OR RTF of 1,500-4,000 word story. Indent the first line of each paragraph half an inch and double space (regular double spacing, do not add extra lines between paragraphs or do any other irregular spacing). US grammar (double quotation marks around dialogue, etc.) required. Only submit your final, best version of the story you are submitting. Do not send multiple versions of the same story. Include your legal name (and pseudonym if applicable), mailing address, and 50 word or less bio in the third person to [email protected]. If you are using a pseudonym, please provide your real name as well as your pseudonym and make it clear which one you’d like to be credited as. For the smoothest editorial process, please double check that the byline you are using with your submission is the byline you'd want published. You will receive a confirmation within 72 hours. I will get back to you by September 2014. I cannot give any feedback on rejected submissions.

Payment: $50 and 2 copies of the book on publication

Deadline: April 1, 2014 (earlier submissions strongly encouraged)

NOTE: I’ve been seeing numerous recent submissions that do not conform to my guidelines. They are there for a reason. Please read and follow them. If you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected]

Call for Submissions: Female Fantasy Erotica, March 1 deadline
To be published by Cleis Press

This collection of erotica will feature female protagonists living out their hottest fantasies. From vanilla kinky, single to partnered, from 18 to elderly, I'm looking for stories of all sorts of women (transgender characters are also welcome) exploring new aspects of their sexuality. For inspiration, feel free to check out a list by Violet Blue of common sexual fantasies, but stories must capture what about that particular fantasy for that particular character is so compelling and make it red-hot to work for this book, and authors are encouraged to be creative, daring and provocative with exploring the definition of fantasy and how it plays out for your character.

Call for Submissions: Best Bondage Erotica 2015, March 1 deadline
To be published by Cleis Press

Best Bondage Erotica 2015 will collect the best bondage erotica stories around, focusing on a range of techniques, implements, characters and scenarios, from newbies to seasoned bondage players and everything in between. Bondage should be a central focus of the erotic element of the story but the plot does not have to hinge on bondage. The final book will include stories focused on both the physical and mental aspects of bondage, from varying points of view. Bondage plus other sexual activity is welcome (spanking, tickling, exhibitionism, voyeurism, intercourse, oral sex, teasing, etc.). Original, unique, creative characters, settings, scenarios and forms of bondage are encouraged. As befitting the title, I’m looking for the best, hottest, most creative bondage erotica for this collection. All genders/sexual orientations welcome. No poetry.

Original stories strongly preferred, but reprints of work published (or slated to be published) between September 2013 and November 2014 will be considered but will be given lower priority than original work and author MUST include original publication information and retain reprint rights. All characters must be over 18; no incest or bestiality. Please see Best Bondage Erotica 2011, 2012, 2013 or 2014 or my other kinky Cleis Press anthologies (Serving Him, Anything for You, Cheeky Spanking Stories, Bottoms Up, Spanked, Yes, Sir, Yes, Ma’am, He’s on Top, She’s on Top) for an idea of the kinds of stories I prefer. I will consider up to two stories per author.

DO NOT submit multiple versions of your story; submit ONLY your final, complete, edited version of the story. Oh, thanks for the reminder. Any objections if I just copy 2013's? I'll leave this thread stickied for a month or two, then we'll let it sink.

No objections. Also, there are some calls in this thread that could be transferred to the 2014 thread.

I can work on that later if there are no objections from posters. :)

Whoopsie! Let's pay closer attention to the year, please, Gingerwoman. I've moved your post to the right thread.

I'd left this 2013 thread open since a few of the later posts' due dates had not yet come, but it's high time to lock her down. See the 2014 list instead.

Maryn, in her official capacity, which is 1.8 liters

ETA: A quick look suggests that all the calls for manuscripts with deadlines in 2014 are on this final page. Somebody poke me when April 1st goes by, since that's the latest deadline, and I will un-sticky the thread.

ETA Part 2: Unstickied, with thanks to c.m.n. for copying the relevant posts to the 2014 thread. Awesome!
