Braggage III

You folks want I should re-title the the thread? It really did seem like it was the second one.

I say just leave it as Braggage III. It can be one of those AW forum non-mysteries, like the Celine Dion sub-forum.

You're right:

Recent Braggage (the one before this one)

Ancient Braggage

I guess you could rename the recent Braggage thread Braggage II (so people would see Braggage II and Braggage III here), but I kind of like the mystery. Besides, Braggage will probably fall off the front page soon.

Whatever we call the thread, I has a little braggage to add to it --
my flash story "Voyager" came out in the newest issue of ASIM, which arrived in my mailbox today :D

(Unfortunately, there was a gaff where a suggested word edit by the editor got left in with the original word which was a bit jarring, but oh well. Shite happens, eh.)

Damn, missed the first page of posts... Been a bit quiet over the summer, but finally some braggage to report. Youth Imagination are purchasing my story 'The Last Supper'. Thanks to those on here that helped with that one. :)

I got an acceptance from Shimmer today! It's my first sale ever, and I'm elated.

Great way to start your publishing career!

108 days to an acceptance from Miscellanea: A Transdimensional Library.

Original story sale #53:

'In the Wake of the Storm' to Buzzy Magazine.

This is an urban fantasy story set in NYC in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. It was accepted after 68 days and is my third sale to Buzzy (which has recently become a SFWA-approved market!)

Congrats, Alex! Awesome.

And I totally agree re Highlander. I still remember the disappointment.

And congrats Niccolo on Miscellanea! Always fun seeing the new pieces up there.

Reprint story sale: "Succubus" (only previous publication in a US anthology in 1994) accepted by Hellfire Crossroads. It's a sexual-themed horror story and is definitely NSFW.

Some way off Alex, but my 14th original short story sale was hiding in my junk mail folder since yesterday afternoon. Discovered it on Submittable first! Metro M0ms are buying my story 'Forever in Your Orbit'.

Congrats to Simon, Alex, Niccolo and Eyeblink. :)

A bit of good news on my end. Crowded Magazine has accepted "The Spider-thief and The Sorcerer" for Issue #3. Very excited about this. (This is the one that had five second-round bumps in a row, but kept getting kicked back in the final round.)

Congrats to Aggy, Simon, Alex, and many many others!

I've been pretty MIA (aka not writing) for a while now, but I did snag an acceptance from Crowded today. Aggy, I'll look forward to sharing a TOC with you! I've seen the title of your story several times here along its journey, so it'll be great to finally read it.
