I hate it when things happen at work that I would totally lose my cool over if I were anywhere else. I dont' typically let things I'm passionate about slide because talking about it makes a difference.

I've written just over 2k words in the past 3 days. I'm very pleased with that, considering I wrote 0 words for months beforehand...
Yay, the forum's back up! It's 4am here and I've been on a crisis management conference call for 5 hours so far, I need some light relief. Or a gun, one or the other...

I'm quietly optimistic that I've finally defeated that mental brick wall that was stopping me from writing. Uni is long since over, and I'm not going back any time soon, so yeah - time to write!

Thanks, I did, though didn't go anywhere before yesterday due to having no money before payday.
I woke up at 4am this morning - I don't know what's happened to my sleep pattern over the last few days. Back to work on Monday, and it's only a month until my job change. My next week off is in May, during which I'll be up way past my bedtime on UK General Election night.
Oh well, will hopefully have some good tennis to watch in about two and half hours from now.
It's now just after 6am. I'm still on the same conference call.It's not like I wanted to sleep or anything...
That's two Cantina Brits up at an unfeasalbly early hour. I hope Ali is sleeping soundly.

Because I woke up at around 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. Something's screwed my sleep pattern, don't know what.
And as I won't get back to sleep, I'm going to watch an episode of Spiral for the next hour.

There is snow on the ground, not much, and light sleet coming down. Hopefully it won't affect the trains as I have a writers' group meeting in London this afternoon.
