It's been awhile. Hope everyone is doing well. I wrote a short story (illustrated by the wonderful Karen Wang) which is featured in the latest issue of The Gathering comic anthology. This issue is kind of special as it was created entirely by a group of talented women and I'm so happy to share space in the book with them.

My story serves as a tie in to a novel I'm working on which is also kind of cool

Thanks. I'm happy with how it came out. It's an entirely different process to write within a certain page/panel restriction and put trust into the hands of someone else to convey visuals but I like it. Changes things up

Heather was able to read the book in advance. Friend of a friend of a friend who was giving it an edit passed it on to her and she liked it and said I could use the quote. Very happy with that.

KDP is going okay so far. I'm thinking of writing something more in depth about my experiences with it when some more time passes.

Here is an unlettered page of art from a short comic story I did for The Gathering's Horror issue (coming in Sept or Oct). Like my other comic story this one features characters from my novel in a little side story. I think David Aspmo (the artist) did a really nice job with it and can't wait to show off the whole story

They've been doing an ongoing anthology called The Gathering for several years. I did a few short stories in them. Now they're expanding and doing bigger projects (under the Phase 2 umbrealla) like mini series and ongoings and a mini series based on Run Like Hell is one of those projects.
