I've noticed there has never been an anthology with that theme. In fact, I don't know of any short story or novel that has dealt with that issue. Hmmm....

I'm disappointed in the tv fare tonight. I was really hoping for something a bit better than the usual tripe. Sadly, they've been running Christmas shows non-stop for the past 5 weeks and most folks are Christmased out. I, on the other hand, haven't done much Christmasy and now that it's Christmas Eve, I'm ready for the Christmas Experience.

Went to see my mom and aunt at the nursing home and take them their gifts then spent the afternoon watching The Hobbit at the local Cinemark. Now sitting down to a few beers then back home to cook up a ham and maybe a baked potato.

We've got a winter storm warning in effect tonight (blizzard warning south of us).

Hmmm, perusing the radar it appears we (ie the Tulsa area) may have dodged the snow and ice bullet predicted for tonight (2-4" now instead of the 6-8" and 4-6" predicted earlier today). Radar shows everything south of us, but it's wrapping around in an odd direction.
