I know of several agents who've recently signed authors with LGBTQ books in urban fantasy and epic fantasy - with characters in open and explicit relationships, instead of the mainstream's previous fade-to-black preferences. Times are a-changin'.

I had no problem querying my intersex bisexual fantasy back in 2011. For marketing purposes it was kept as a secret in Pantomime's blurb, with mixed results.
