Make out Scenes?

I know how to write sex scenes quite well, but I'm unsure of plainly make out scenes. I want it to turn on the reader a bit with no sex, and honestly I'm unsure of how to do that. I know tension is important, although this scene does not have a lead up.

Any good things to read or suggestions? Movie suggestions are okay too.
