Hello from the UK!

Hi :)

I'm a new writer from Cheshire, UK.

I'm currently writing my first fantasy/horror novel and looking to meet inspiring and interesting people.

I'm 27 and spend my day life running an IT department for a marketing company.

I'm not new to forums, but it's been about 7 years or so since I was a member in one... Any pointers are welcome!

Welcome Afton! I used to do marketing for what was essentially an IT department, so hey! Good times.

It takes a huge amount of time, but I do enjoy it! Finding time to write is difficult. I get to work early and fit an hour in there - and if I'm not taking a working lunch, I'll do another 30 minutes or so (or spend that time for plot revisions/planning). Keeping it moving is the most important bit! I use a piece of software that's great for just writing whichever scene I want and I don't have to worry about organising random documents all over the show!

I've done a bit of music recording in St Helens a few years ago, about an hours drive or so!

I am a fellow dark fiction author. Love the UK! One of my fav places to visit (when I did that thing called vacation, which exists in a world known as pre-parenting, in a dimension called liberty).
