Nope, I haven't got any spam. But if I did I'd just ignore or delete. It's not a big deal.

Please don't ignore spam. If people get away with it uncontested, they think they have a right to keep spamming people. Reporting spam is a benefit to the entire community.

Okay, point taken. But it's not worth getting our knickers in a twist over. Spam is part of the internet experience. Maybe this calls for a new book: Chill folks, and embrace the spam!

I'm all for reporting spam messages. If someone wants to tell me about a different writing site, great. However, there is a thread for announcements and the like.

With all due respect to the message sender, tell everyone or tell no-one.

I've been here a couple of weeks so it may not be going to "brand new" people only, and just got this spam this morning. I figured if I went out to the writing threads I'd find some direction on whether you guys wanted to be informed or not. I'll forward it to you Mac.
