Got a revision request on a short story from a SFWA-qualifiying market. I'm having to cut over 20% of the word count, and some of the other comments were kind of "English major-y" (which I can say because I was one)--meaning there was talk of more so bringing out the characters' "subversion" which certainly never entered my conscious brainspace--but still. If the revision is accepted, this would be my first sale.
