Nikoleta is the Greek variation- the character is greek.

As for Veronika... well, I like that! My friend suggested it.

Tally, I have a (possibly stupid) question:

With worldbuilding, do you always need to do long bulleted lists? I need to sort out my werewolves (myths, how they become werewolves, etc) and the pure werewolf society...

Um...

Worldbuilding does not have any rules except this one: make your world rich.

Not money-wise, of course, but make it deep. Know your world inside out. Make it real- doesn't matter if it's full of magical creatures.

Now, of course, the highly advisable guild lines include creating limitations and laws, understanding the economy, the politics, the culture, having RULES- in other words, making your world a real place, deeper than just what happens in the plot.

For really good Worldbuilding advice, go to Holly Lisle's website (just google it) and look up her articles.

But the most important thing about Worldbuilding is that, if you never actually write the story, it's useless. So don't spend too long on it. It's important, but not as important as the writing.

Hairspray rehearsal! Wearing my Penny shoes! All set to go!

You guys, I did the AWESOMEST workout today. I set up a total gym in my garage. I was like "MAMA I'M A BIG GIRL NOW!"

Worldbuilding.

Here's hoping I can read 12pt. when it's on the wall. I presume so, based on school...

Try 14p.

Google it. It's basically this machine where you lift weights based on your body weight.

Gotta go!

I miss spring break. :p On the other hand, I have a three day weekend, so it's not all bad.

My bf is basically skipping his spring break because he has too much work, which sucks. He's coming for the weekend and then leaving again.

Oh my God... This rehearsal is exhausting. And I'm sunburned, so I'm boiling under the stage lights.

Now we are doing 'Welcome To The 60's.

Good news, everyone! I've managed to get my redone opening of Against the Dying and the rest of the book to meet!

Now, Para's comments are completely dealt with. See, Para said that the characters hiding in their house when the world ended wasn't exactly the most heroic way for them to be introduced, so I expanded the 1st chapter into 7 chapters as each of the main characters go around trying to save their families and watching the world slowly get devoured by giant spiders!
