I remember it was a buzz a few years back, but I have totally lost track of it.

What it did is analyze the types of sentence in your writing and told you how many long, medium, and short sentence your had. It also told you how many sentences were complex or simple or stared with clauses, etc.

Anyone remember that?

It's been so long since I've seen the sites. But I don't recognize these ones. The second place is loaded with stuff. Very handy. I'm playing with it now putting in old blog posts. :0

Thanks!

I use autocrat and love it. It's so good at pointing out flubbage that you didn't even notice (but that weighs the story down just the same).

A little different to the other tools, but I really like the free tool http://editminion.com/. Site seems to be running very slow today, though. It's by the creator of Write Or Die.

Thanks! I admit it's totally fun to put the same story or whatever into the different editor and see what things they pick out.
