I remember when gas was 88 cents a gallon and I'm only 26!

that doesn't count though, does it?

Nuts to that! It's almost time for Andy Williams, and he's got some new act called The Ozmins or Osmonds or something like that.

Give me 5 minutes to warm up the RCA Victor and point the Tenna-Rotor toward Pittsburgh.

Man, I hate them new-fangled gadgets.

Remember when you were a kid and your mother would send you to the store for a quart of milk? You went and bought a quart of milk. Nowadays, the kid would have to figure out whether mom needed 1/2 percent, 2 percent, skim, fat free, lactose free, whole or acidophilus. Things is too complicated now.

Shouldn't you lot be taking your after-supper nap about now?

All this thread needs is a shuffleboard team (it is played in teams, right?)

"Siddown, ya fool! Everytime you step between me and the rabbit ears, I see two Jack Bennys! And go fix me some CoCo Wheats. And some Bosco. I want somethin' to eat later while I watch Jack Parr. And do you think Dave Garroway is actin' weird? I do. I think it was that dang chimp J. Fred Muggs that did it to him..."

Right here, in front of my computer
I remember the days when my mom would drop me off in front of the Dime Store, with a dime and I'd actually come out with 10 pieces of candy. But I'm only 33 (or 34?). Oh hell, I'm just so used to telling people I'm 25, for the last few years, I really have to stop and count it up if I'm really 33 or 34. Does that count? :D

I'm 37 - I remember rotary phones, no home computers, no cable, putting foil on the rabbit ears, records and turntables. I even remember the Hamm's scrolling beer light at the VFW (aren't many of those around anymore). I was my father's remote control for the TV. We watched Marshall Matt Dillon on Gunsmoke on Sunday nights. So far, y'all aren't impressing me.

I don't recall this being the Namby-Pamby Country Club Member Thread.

Oh, and if those computers above the lanes should break down, I know how to keep score!

My first job was as a pin boy. True story. Used to walk there. Ten miles. Uphill. Both ways.
