We have a Movies thread, but I'm always curious what folks are watching on television. Especially with most series on hiatus for the summer. And yes, pre-taped or DVD boxed sets count. :)

I watched an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, on the Sci Fi Channel's all day marathon.

Babylon 5 boxed set. Such wonderful writing, such great plotting with a 4 season story arc (climax in season 4!) Each episode like a chapter of a book. I love it.

Mostly relying on DVDs to get me through the characteristically horrific summer season. Boys Over Flowers, Elfen Lied, Morito Guardian of the Spirit (excellent show), .hack//Roots, Signs, Liminality, Melancholy of Huruhi Suzimiya, Legend of Himiko,Venture Bros, Bleach...

Conan O'Brien. Its one of two shows that I'm permitting Tivo to continue recording.

I'm not actually sure. Probably a syndicated Seinfeld episode.

It's been lots and lots of CNN and ABC News lately.

I won't count the news this morning. Last night we watched:

Holmes on Homes

This is me, my wife Sue and the star of the show, Mike Holmes, last summer when he rode a horse past our house:

They were shooting an episode down the block from us and Sue just happened to look out the window and wonder who the weirdos were riding horses on the street. :)

i don't know, i'm lost
The last show I sat down and watched all the way through was the last episode of Project Runway.

I've thrown my support behind Suede. I am not ashamed.

Behind you! Boo.
I haven't watched anything this summer except the Olympics, some of the DNC, news, and the US Open.

King of the Hill, season 4 on DVD. Before that, Frasier season 1 and Fishing With John in its entirety.

I was going to say the season finale of the Office a few months back, but Cauchet Butterfly reminded me I watched an episode of Project Runway at a friend's house a few weeks ago.

We're TV-less this summer, since we loaned ours out to a friend, so I'll have some catching up to do in the fall. It's done wonders for my WIP though. Now if only I could bring myself to get rid of the internet.

Pen and Teller's: BULLSHIT!

What can I say, I'm a libertarian atheist, I agree with 99% of what they say. Also, I love them to death because, in their episode about "the war on porn" they said that the states with most pornography viewing have had a decrease in rape and the states with the least pornography viewing had an increase.

And then...they said..."And this is also bullshit. Because correlation does NOT mean causation."

I wet myself with joy.

I watched SNL. Bits and pieces of it while I was reading in what little light provided, and listening to my dad snore on the couch...good times.
