I watched episodes of Golden Girls Season 6 last night. I have all seven seasons on DVD. I love that show. It makes me laugh, and I need that.

I did catch a little of the cartoon Max and Ruby this afternoon when my daughter was watching it.

Yesterday
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights' episodes of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Some of the best comedy they've ever done falls during convention weeks. One episode had me in near tears from laughing so much.

Don't watch actual TV any more, but I've picked up an expensive habit concerning DVD boxsets. Currently on series two of the remake of Battlestar Galactica (which is utterly awesome), and I picked up the first two series' of Only Fools and Horses at the weekend. Classic UK sitcom from the eighties, and still awesome.

Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations.

Oh, oh how I love him. Only Keith Olbermann ranks higher.

Yeah, I know, I have a thing for older men. Don't tell my younger husband...

NYPD Blue, seventh season. Which as far as I know is neither on television or released on DVD. Which means my husband has procured it via less than licit means! :-O

One of the best shows EVER. I'm finding it interesting to watch for the racial and gender issues - it's definitely old enough to be showing its age in that regard, so you can see how society's attitudes have changed. What's particularly interesting to me is how I myself react to the recurring gay character (John). I remember when I watched the series originally I didn't like John at all - this was when I was in high school and couldn't fathom an attraction to the same sex. I also had some pretty strong religious beliefs and I felt threatened. Now, I really enjoy John's character. Although my religious beliefs haven't changed significantly, I'm definitely more secure and I've realized people are just people; you take them how you find them in all walks of life. So watching this series a second time has been interesting in the sense that I can see how I've matured.

My husband just started catching up on Nip/ Tuck. I can't handle that show- too much blood and guts and people being stuck with needles.

Pen and Teller's: BULLSHIT!

What can I say, I'm a libertarian atheist, I agree with 99% of what they say. Also, I love them to death because, in their episode about "the war on porn" they said that the states with most pornography viewing have had a decrease in rape and the states with the least pornography viewing had an increase.

And then...they said..."And this is also bullshit. Because correlation does NOT mean causation."

I wet myself with joy.
That's a great show, it's one of a very few TV shows I'd consider watching if I had access to cable or dish TV. I might even get the old episodes on DVD.

I rarely actually watch television since getting on the Internet. I've watched one or two BULLSHIT! episodes and the South Park "Bloody Mary" episode, but not on TV, on the Internet! (look! youtube!)

I'm now watching the third part of this documentary "Bloody Controversy" (which shows much of the "Bloody Mary" episide) and this woman seems to be criticizing South Park: "The children and the black cook chef are the only ones who ever get it right." She makes South Park sound just like the good old wholesome "Peanuts" comic strip. :)

If you haven't seen it, it's a kids' cartoon, but it's hilarious and the writing is really something to be aspired to!

The convention... I'm going to have withdrawal when all of the conventions are over! Either that or a very welcome break. It's up in the air.

Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares show where he revisited some of the restaurants from last season. I was doing my nails at the time.
