I also want to use a pen name, have to admit I didn't think about the boys not reading a female author.

For me I have another woman on the family with the same name and of course we have the same surname. Deal breaker for me.

I want to use Mari, that is from my name, but didn't decided on a surname yet. Need to look around more.

I like Alison Woodworth! Especially for romance.

I have to use a pen name. I mean, I don't have to, but I do if I want the majority of my family and close family friends to love me still. :)

I write a lot of LGBT, which is a problem because all my family aside from my siblings are the kind of Catholic that believe being gay or transsexual or anything other than straight and your gender, is very very wrong. I write with cursing and taboo relationships and all kinds of nutty stuff that most of my family would sooner have a heart attack than read.

Which sucks but, you know, at least I'm writing!

I'm going have to use a pen name --too much hot alien sex and head 'splosions--for a man whose day job is teaching children.

Alison Woodsworth is great. English-y and elegant with a hint of sex.
