February 20, 2015 — Bogart, Ga — Old Home Kitchens is voluntarily recalling "Sock It To Me Crème Cake" under "the Bakery baked with pride" label with a production code of 150301100 thru 150310700 ink jet coded on plastic dome, because they contain undeclared pecans.

Serious Product Removal/Foodborne Illness Outbreak From Blue Bell Creameries

According to the CDC and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, five patients who were treated in a single hospital in Kansas were infected with one of four rare strains of Listeria monocytogenes. Three of these strains, which are highly similar, have also been found in products manufactured at the Blue Bell Creameries production facility in Brenham, Texas. Illness onset dates range from January 2014 to January 2015.

March 18, 2015 – Vitamin Cottage Natural Food Markets Inc., a specialty retailer of organic and natural products, is expanding their recall of Natural Grocers brand Organic Garlic Powder to all lots as the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
