Starring Ryan Philippe and Juliette Lewis.

OK, I'm hooked.

Anyone else watching?

Me too. Not so much hooked, but intrigued. But my patience is wearing thin. They seem to be piling on more secrets and lies then to be unraveling the truth. If they could drop more clues, ya know?

It seriously can be anyone that did it. Even the daughter.

Yep, it reminds me of Gracepoint.

I am getting a bit tired of just how screwed the MC is. Its like that super-angsty fanfiction that just tortures the MC.

Also, the fact that they've cut the detective almost completely out of the narrative (despite hyping Juliet Lewis as one of the stars), has made her look clinically obsessed with Phillipe's character. We need some hint as to why she's so fixated on him as the prime suspect. She doesn't even know about the flashlight...And she seemed convinced even before discovering he was the boy's father!

^ I totally agree.

Is she even considering the fact that someone else in the neighborhood/area just might have a motive?

I'm behind an episode or two, and I think I agree with everyone...but I still like it. But it's another one of those shows where you wonder what they could possibly do beyond the first season.

I really like it so far. There are a lot of similarities to Gracepoint and that was a favorite for me. :)

I do wish we get a solid clue though, it seems like everything else has just been a dead end.

I've begun to fear it's not as clever as it thinks it is. And the only way they could treat Melissa Gilbert's character any worse is to have her walk around in a big RED HERRING costume (unless, of course, she or her son did it, in which case bad on the writers for making it so obvious).

I think the son did it and Gilbert knows it and is protecting him. ;)

I haven't watched last nights episode so I don't know if anything more has happened with Gilbert or her son. But I think her son either did it or knows who did.

I can't help but compare the show to Gracepoint and it's just not quite as good.

Sadly, Juliette Lewis' father, character actor, Geoffrey Lewis died last week.

Only two more episodes left and I'm still not sure who dun it.

I was so upset last night when I thought we were going to be left with a cliffhanger! Thank God that was not the finale. :D

It's so good though, I was on the edge of my seat last night.

Two Things...

1. Anyone else thought Sunday (5/3) was the last episode only to find there's another one coming up and is totally confused?

2. Anyone else (besides Pepper and me) figured out "Who Dunnit" prior to the big reveal on Sunday? :D

I totally knew it was the little girl. I saw it a mile away.

And no, the extra finale episode is just dragging it out more.

Yeah, it seemed pretty clear not only that she did it, but that he would throw himself on his sword and confess to try and save her.

The little coda where she goes all "Bad Seed" in the backseat of the car while her mother is driving was hysterically OTT.

About three episodes back (the one where he got kidnapped and tortured by his neighbor) I began fastforwarding through bits of the program. At least the finale managed to keep my finger off the FFW button. And then, oh wait, now you say it's not the finale???

Alrighty Then,

I was all set to watch the (final) finale last night and checked the onscreen guide to check the time, and lo and behold, Secrets & Lies wasn't even listed.

Seems last week was the actual finale and if viewers wanted to see one last "tease," they needed to check it out online at Cornell Confidential.

Yeah, I'm kinda ticked off at the way it ended.
