Also, the fact that they've cut the detective almost completely out of the narrative (despite hyping Juliet Lewis as one of the stars), has made her look clinically obsessed with Phillipe's character. We need some hint as to why she's so fixated on him as the prime suspect. She doesn't even know about the flashlight...And she seemed convinced even before discovering he was the boy's father!I am getting a bit tired of just how screwed the MC is. Its like that super-angsty fanfiction that just tortures the MC.

I've begun to fear it's not as clever as it thinks it is. And the only way they could treat Melissa Gilbert's character any worse is to have her walk around in a big RED HERRING costume (unless, of course, she or her son did it, in which case bad on the writers for making it so obvious).II do wish we get a solid clue though, it seems like everything else has just been a dead end.
It's a miniseries. I don't think there will be a second season. Just a 10 episode arc.But it's another one of those shows where you wonder what they could possibly do beyond the first season.

I think the son did it and Gilbert knows it and is protecting him.
I totally knew it was the little girl. I saw it a mile away.
... At least the finale managed to keep my finger off the FFW button. And then, oh wait, now you say it's not the finale???
