First, she went to some sort of show last night that included Vanilla Ice. Now she is going to some event that includes the always dreaded and hated "DJ".

Our VBS is indoor/outdoor--when outside, it's under the oaks, an amazing setting. Inside is transformed into a jungle wonderland. It's so much fun. The kids actually love it.

Yes, I was kidding. No Incident. Just a low kid turnout due to lots of people being on vacation. It's a small church.

Other Reasons abound, but that was the main driving factor.

You could have Vacation Bible School Day.

My daughter works at one of the shops at the airport. Orlando Bloom came in yesterday. She took it calmly. He was in town for Comic-Con.
