ION: Plastic wrap is okay to use in the microwave. Not so much in the oven. :e2smack:

Put aluminum foil over the plastic wrap. The plastic wrap seals in the moisture. The aluminum foil protects the plastic wrap.

Plastic and high temps not edible. Please to no combine.

Ion, I was going to sub to SHs finally but they now have a daily sub limit that resets at midnight. What about rotating the time for those unwilling to stay up or get up early and hope their wifi works at that hour?!? (Also, even though I could do this at four am, there is no garantee I won't have missed the window!) eek.

Cottage is the only one of the five cheeses that is regularly stocked in my house that I never use. The girlfriend likes it, and I only don't mind it when it's in lasagna, which she almost always makes anyway.

Speaking of cheese, I just had cheddar and Merlot cheese.

Better than Port wine cheese. Just saying.

Is the actual alcohol gone from the cheese?

Pooh pooh to all your cheeses. I have really expensive dark chocolate (that I didn't pay for! Silly older sister, leaving it where I can find it!).

Just joking; she gave it to Mom for Christmas, and Mom split it with me.

Brilliant Minds of the Cantina—Unite!

...I need a new name or name idea for the plant-zombies in my story. I just decided that I don't like the name I previously had. Any suggestions? =^_^=

I'll will save Zan from the stuffed peppers! I will throw myself all over that grenade!
Me too! Stuffed peppers are one of my favs.

You guys can totally split my share, from now on.

Yes, I read "sss" as "ass" and was like, "OK Gina that's good to know...?"

glad that wasn't just me who read it wrong that way...

I'm kicking some ass on the current WIP (56K and counting). I found new motivation. The book out for queries had several requests last week, which makes me feel like finishing up this draft sooner than later may be worthwhile.

Yay on 56k and good queries!

Maybe Cobra can make me feel better by talking about his new book deal.
What's this now?

Out of interest, does everyone else pronounce that as croisont?

I dunno why, but I always feel obligated to scrunch up my face and say KWAAAAHsoh!

Venus Die Traps.

*brilliant*

Anyway, I passed 30k on my novel last night.

i probably won't be able to finish my ss (or ass, if you prefer) on account of stabbing myself with a serrated knife while slicing cheese. I can already feel the cheese tetanus sinking in and taking hold...

CM - Can I just say how awesome that is?
Physical books, or electronic?

Electronic.

And thanks!

Dude! Seriously awesome, and well-deserved. Congratulations! :)

Thank you. I'm running out of paper bags to hyperventilate into....

Cobra, the ink will soon be dry. Just hold a hair dryer over it and wave it around a lot.

Ooo, good idea.

Seriously, thanks everyone. I held off saying anything because until I see two sets of signatures, everything is just a beer and a handshake. But looks things are finally a go, so hooray!

:snoopy: Yay for Cobra!

And not to bring the mood down, but I'm blah. I have no good excuse to feel this way. I should feel lucky and satisfied with things in my writing life. I shouldn't be expecting so much from people, but really it's hard not to.

I know there are some here who have to deal with a lot less support but still, a little more support from people in my personal life would be nice.

And now I'll go sulk quietly in the corner.

But Yay for COBRA!!!! :D :D
