Here's a little judicial activism I can support.

Oh... okay, it's not really activism in the sense that everyone uses that term. It's their actual job.

The top court in Arkansas has ordered the immediate dismissal of a judge who leaked confidential details about an adoption involving Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, according to court documents.

Good to see SOMEONE in the system subjected to some repercussions. Now if they could get a cop or two dealt with for shooting people, we might call it a trend.

I think that is awesome!

OTOH, if it took a lot of investigative resources/time/whatever better used in more egregious cases, I'm not for it. Did he say anything more than that she came in in a disguise and described it? So what?

He should be fired, but I'm betting that's not the worst thing an Arkansas judge has done. Is it because she's Charlize that it was taken so seriously? So, good and bad, I think. Let's see it for someone who isn't famous.
