Actually I'm looking for another YA vamp series to get into. Got any suggestions?

Ummm

Well I personally liked the Charlene Harris Sookie Stackhouse series, but they were not YA

But YA vamp books I liked:

Jessica's guide to dating on the darkside (Not a series though)

Vampire Diaries by L.J Smith (this is a series and a new book just came out...but I haven't read that one yet)

House of Night Series by P.C. and Kristen Cast

The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare (has vamps, were's and faeries)

That's all I can think of right off hand...
If you like vamp books you'll probably like some of the faery books as well that are out there .

Not so much a novel as a manuscript I'm reading for work (I work at a publishing house). It's very good but I can't tell you what it's called and who wrote it

But I'm so gonna recommend it once it's published.

Do you think it will be out fairly soon??

I'm reading The City of Dreaming Books. Which technically isn't YA, but it FEELS like a fairy tale and it's adorable. I recommend it.

I don't know what you've finished so far.

Have you tried the Morganville Vampires? The first in the series is Glass Houses by Rachel Caine.

Then there's a silly little romp series called Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead I really enjoyed, and there's two more coming out.

And the Blue Blood series has another one coming out later this year.

Sorry if those are repeats for you.

My sister just finished reading the fifth book in the House of Night series. She read all five books in a week, so it must've been pretty good.

Oh, I just finished reading City of Bones! It is sooooo cool! I want to read the next one, but someone else had it on hold at the library, so I have to wait until it gets back. Sigh. That is going to take forever.

But I do know of a good vampire series. The Blood series. First book is called Blood Price, by Tanya Huff. Pretty good.

City of Bones is one of my favorite books, but some people totally disagree. You either love it or think it's lame. Personally, I think Cassandra Clare has developed an amazing mythology in those books, and they're worth reading just for that.
