How do you feel about these books? Personally, they are enjoyable to read, and super fast-paced, but I wish there was a little bit more detail. I'm only on the first book, but halfway into it, I still don't have a solid idea what the characters look like. I know Patterson probably wants his reads to imagine the characters themselves, but I would like to imagine features that are unique from the rest of the flock--not just blurred people, or even stick figures for that matter. My mind cannot assemble a person unless I have details, and I don't want to put Britney Spears as Nudge. Just saying. The only character whose picture I have in my head is Max, and that's because she's on the cover!
