Fun!

Callie: Chelsie Hightower (on the left)

Chase: BJ Rorke, but more for his dancing than his appearance. The appearance is close though, similar hair

Darren: Daren Kagasoff (the name is a weird coincidence):

Terri: A younger Bethany Joy Galeotti

I can never do these because I always pick Jared Leto to be the LI. He can't be ALL of my male characters, can he?

Okay, I know this is old and tired but I'm totally doing this- if only because I had the first description of one of my MC's 3/4 of the way through the book...haha. Obviously I needed to not put that off!

This excercise helped and I wanted to share:

Lily, a proffesional wakeboarder who really doesn't like people.
She's really difficult to "cast" because people like her generally aren't mainstream. She is half puerto-rican, and very athletic but curvy. Like...this girl is to out of shape (gasp) but she has the right curves. And this girl's face is wrong...but that's fine. This is the closest I could come up with:

Then, her BFF, Riley, who is a ladies man type of guy. I don't really like Zac Efron but this look works for Riley:

Lily suffers a career ending injury and ends up working on a crab boat (maryland crabs not alaska lol) and this guy is a good voice and look for the captain, Bill. The guy in my book is older but I've worked with so many people that are like this...so he represents well:

Finally, we have Levi, the guy she actually ends up with. tehehe.

Okay, does anyone have any suggestions for the MCs in Suns and Stars? Tristan is 16, about 6f, skinny but has a bit of bulge around his middle, boy-ish looking, has dimples and has blond curls. Personality wise, he's very, very shy around girls, and an absolute sweetheart. Dulcie is also 16, dark curly, shoulder length hair, brown eyes (contact, usually she has pink), small, slim. Also shy, but can be feisty when she wants to be.

So all these years, I definitely thought I was the only one who ever did this. Glad I'm wrong!

Kate, my protagonist, looks like a young(ish) Alicia Silverstone.

David, her incredibly hot bff who she may or may not be in love with, looks like this guy from the Vampire Diaries whose name escapes me. Except David has lighter hair.

Shea, the cute-in-an-annoying-way boy she meets, is totally Adam Brody. Dorky hot is the best kind of hot.

Diana is Shea's ex-girlfriend. She's a sexpot, but really fake as a person. She shows up to wreak havoc from time to time. In my head, she looks like a younger, bitchier version of Reese Witherspoon with dark hair.

Shelby is Kate's emotional foil. She's joyous and ditzy and adorable, but she's a lot smarter than she appears. She looks like Willa Holland circa the OC.

There are more characters, obviously, but those are the actors I've found so far that are ~perfect~.

Spell Dancers (New WIP)

The year was 1933 and the country was in turmoil. For Jillian Someday, her only escape from the poverty of her small Louisiana village of d'Anjou, is the legend of the fairies that live in the weeping willow over the pond. They say that the willow glows a brilliant blue and gold at night. Jillian's family is spread out all over the country hoping for fame, fortune or survival. Spring comes to d'Anjou and with the rebirth of the village the Auclair heiress and her family arrives to stay at their castle; of which Mr. Someday has been caretaker of. Spring comes to d'Anjou and with the rebirth of the village the Auclair heiress and her family arrives to stay at their castle; of which Mr. Someday has been caretaker of. Gosh, a good portion of the cast of my novels (dreaming of a tv series) is already on here. Right now, I picture one of my MCs, Danica, looking like this gorgeous woman. I'd cast a teenage version of her. Love her!

Channing Tatum would so be my Brad, a teenage version. Love him!

Ah, a classic thread has returned in time for my next novel.

Caitlin Wachs (with black hair) - Kaylee McVade (MC), age 16.

The Noxbringer, Death's Chosen One, a legacy known to corrupt any who draw upon its power. Following her father's execution, Kaylee was Severed by the magical community. Yet, she must regain her powers and tap her legacy in order to purge the world of Noxstigma, a terrible curse responsible for the deaths of thousands, as well as save the life of her best friend Parker.

Ezra Miller - Jeremy Rhodes (Antagonist), age 16

Fiercely loyal to Kaylee's father yet never treated with respect and love by any he's devoted himself to, he will stop at nothing to prove his value and worth... even if it means restoring the darkest magi to ever exist unto the world.

Christian Serratos as Amanda Taylor(Support), age 16

An intense, very powerful magi devoted to saving her twin brother's life from the dreaded Noxstigma which ravages the magi world, she helps Kaylee on her quest to regain her powers and bring an end to the terrible curse.

Adrian Kali Turner as Benjamin Marris (Support), age 15

A dutiful son born into a ruthless exiled order of magi, Benjamin didn't fit in, being both kind-hearted and honorable. Kaylee gives him another choice, a path which will bring about the end of the Noxstigma. He joins her in her pursuit.

Hot pic of Loving Emily

Here's the scoop on my two main characters, Ryan and Emily, in the upcoming YA novel, Loving Emily (coming out Fall 2011 as an e-book and softcover book). For more info, visit my website at www.annepfefferauthor.com.

Emily, the Girl of Ryan’s Dreams
She had this smooth dark hair that I wanted to touch and this light in her eyes that just wouldn’t go out, as if she was never bored or mad or in doubt about anything. Me, I lived in a world of doubt. I wanted to meet her.

Ryan, the romantic hero
So I shower and wrestle with my hair to make it lie smooth, but it goes all wavy on me anyway, and put on a nice shirt and sports jacket and splash on some manly cologne. I take off in my prize possession, the hot, red BMW 3 series convertible that my folks gave me for my sixteenth birthday. I pull into the Malibu Breakers Club parking lot at exactly 8:05, thinking Sweet! I’m the first one here. I’ll have her all to myself.
