The BBC account is here. I'm really pleased for him, and also pleased to see a sci-fi author covered on the site like that.
We buy Reynolds' books as soon as they're out in paperback - good, far-reaching space opera, with a standard of writing that I think has improved over time.
I remember my hubby going to see a reading by Reynolds at Worldcon a few years ago. Reynolds was describing the plot before reading a scene, and hubby remarked how it was "like you do it", all tripping over his tongue, going back and forth and making it sound incredibly convoluted.
(It wasn't meant as an insult). It made me feel heartened if even bestselling authors do that sometimes!

Now he can buy himself a spacecraft.
