I sort of like the third one but it may be too long (I don't know if there's any sort of golden rule regarding title length but it looks like it might be a lot to fit on a spine).

My personal preference, though, is for the original.

That's a list of all the "ly" words (not counting probably, really, etc) in the first 20 pages.

Just to make y'all feel better.
OOoh - I'm pretty sure that in my first WIP that would be the list from the first 2 pages. That is up for some serious editing.... someday.

Is it bad if one of my male characters breaks down and sobs after killing someone? It's not terribly unmanly given the circumstances, surely.

If his feelings toward this person he killed were malicious in nature, then I wouldn't let him cry. If it was an accident or something that needed to be done, and deep down he didn't really want to do it, then I could see him having a breakdown.

Thanks. Not an accident but definitely not something he would have ever seen himself doing.

OMG, no! Logan in Veronica Mars breaks down on numerous occasions, and he's a pretty tough cookie most of the time. It makes the breakdowns that much more heartbreaking, IMO. *Love* it.

So, has anyone who's read some of DG for me also watched Veronica Mars? Just checking....

Hound,

As for the perverted responses, I've been vaccinated and immune after nine years of teaching teenagers!!!!

I did chuckle though!! LOL I normally don't like writing "chuckled" but after rereading New Moon, I'm chuckling right along!!!
