Thumbs up What's your favorite animal to write about in it's perspective?

Well, I love ALL animals, but I really understand horses. I mean I'm around them most of the week... I own a horse. And so I like to write sometimes in a horse's perpsective. I've written a short story (I had to write a short story in class) and I wrote it about a pony who ran away from its owner and escaped the barn to freedom and what was on their mind. Now I'm writing a story about a centaur who lives with horses and can talk to the horses so it's basically in the horse's perspective for half my story.

So what animal(s) perspective do you like to write in?

Interesting question... when I was in high school I wrote a short story that was partially from a dolphin's perspective. I think it would be interesting to write from a horse's perspective (grew up w/them), or a dog or even a wolf. The variety of dog breeds and personalities that could go along w/each would be fun and wolves are so misunderstood.

Sometimes I like to write from the perspective of a dinosaur. In a way, it's easier and allows more room for creativity than writing about existing animals, since we don't know exactly how non-avian dinosaurs thought (brains don't fossilize).

Some day I'd like to write a story from the perspective of a blobfish. I mean, just look at him! That is a face with a story to tell.

For me it's big cats but mostly leopards or lions. Not sure why. I just have a connection with them I suppose.

Oh or a blobfish like Canotila. The stories it could tell!

Wolves! Though the MC in my book INTERPRETS what they're thinking/saying.
