I've read a couple of Straub's books (Shadowland and the two with Stephen King) and enjoyed them, but didn't seek out any of his other stuff until last week. I'm reading Koko at the moment and it's great. Anyone recommend any of his other books?

I tried reading In the Night Room, but I lost interest within about the first fifty pages; as I recall, it starts off slow. Sometimes it's the reader as much as the book; and it might not have been the right book for me at that time. I really should go back and try reading it again.

This thread got me to thinking that I should give Straub another chance. I didn't wait to start In the Night Room again at this time, so I checked with what my local library had. I decided to download the digital version of The Talisman by King and Straub. I like listening to books at work and in the car, so I'll try it this way.

I'm going to re-read Shadowland after Koko simply because I read it years ago. I'm definitely up for some of his other books.
