Good job, Harry. This is one hell of a good picture, despite its low budget. One of the best noirs, and I've always had a crush on Marie Windsor, though she was usually cast in B pictures. Just the way things worked in the old Hollywood studio system, I guess, because she was a first-rate actress.

Oh yup, quality picture. Though I always thought the humour in it kinda kicked it out of the noir genre (not to say noir can't be funny). More like American Hitchcock imho - definitely smart, wicked, fun and worth a Sunday afternoon of anyones life.
