So, I didn't see a thread for this yet, so I decided to start one!

Who else is watching Modern Family? I find it hilarious, but also very endearing. It's a sitcom with a heart, which is something that is missing from a lot of comedy shows these days.

I thought last night's episode was quite fun. I loved Cameron's "I feel like I ate the sun!" line and Mitchell wearing the dress. These actors are great. (I also just realized that the actor who plays Mitchell played Leaf Coneybear in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Broadway! I knew his name was familiar!)

Anyone else? Favorite characters, episodes, etc?

I adore Modern Family! This week's episode was hilarious. I loved when Alex was giving her mom the reasons she thought Luke was ADHD and they kept flashing to shots of Phil doing the same things.

My favorite episodes were probably the one with Luke's birthday party, and the hospital episode ("Be nice to your new fireman daddy", love it!).

I think Modern Family is just brilliant. My favorites are Mitchell, Cameron, Gloria and Manny. It's all such simple plotting and premise, but the writing is so tight and the performances so good that the show becomes extraordinary.

The episode with Shelley Long is one of my favorite episodes of TV in a long time. Dylan's In the Moonlight song made me spew wine all over my living room. "I just wanna do you, do you... Maybe you could do me, do me...." And Hayley sitting there with that dopey look on her face. Absolutely fantastic.

Anyways, is anyone else in love with this series? It's the funniest thing I've seen since the fake fire drill on the Office.

Love MF. Gloria and Phil and Jay are characters of delight.

One of my top moments is Phil haplessly bleating, "Happy Valen-birth-aversary...!"

Yeah I love MF. Phil is my favorite character. He's a total dork and makes no apologies for his weirdness. I always enjoy whatever story they share. I loved when Claire was trying to have a wild night and ends up looking like she's having an affair in front of the snotty moms.

I think my favorite is Cameron. I love how sweet and nice he is, and I also think it's hysterical when he over-reacts to something and starts crying. His and Mitchel's relationship is gold.

I also like Manny and how he writes poetry and tries to woo women the old fashioned way.

I laughed so hard when Cameron introduced Lily to the family with the whole Lion King intro. I have decided I'm going to do that when I have children. I also like his Fizbo impression.
